Oil / Fuel Oil / Coolant
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) forecasts that oil demand will continue to grow strongly and oil will remain the world’s single most important source of energy for the foreseeable future. In fact, OPEC forecasts that oil’s share of the worldwide energy market will fall only about 5% from 1995 to 2020. Whether alternative fuels gain a greater market advantage than what OPEC is willing to forecast remains to be seen, but we understand that oil is still a valuable resource that must be handled responsibly. We maintain our own tankers and have key relationships with facilities that recycle / refine used oil.
Second only to oil, coolants are one of the most ubiquitous industrial waste streams in the market. Because they have value in the marketplace, recycling them is both good environmental practice and good business.
